Safeguarding

The safety and well-being of children is paramount and we see Safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility.

The whole staff team at Priory are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all children feel included, protected and able to thrive. Our robust safeguarding policies and procedures meet all statutory requirements and ensure that the welfare of every child is our highest priority.

We promote a strong culture of vigilance and support through explicitly taught relational practice and comprehensive online safety measures. Safeguarding is explicitly taught through our personal development curriculum, empowering children with the knowledge and skills to stay safe in school, online, and in the wider world.

We support our children, staff and wider community to ensure that signs of abuse are acted upon swiftly and children and adults are equipped to deal with associated risks.
